Exhibitions and initiatives in Turin

The fourth museum of Gallerie d'Italia opened in Turin in 2022 and is located in Palazzo Turinetti, the historic headquarters of Intesa Sanpaolo in Piazza San Carlo. The museum has five floors designed by Michele De Lucchi - AMDL Circle and is home to an important centre for photography and video art, but it will also host temporary exhibitions focused on sustainability issues, as well as spaces for meeting and discovery.

The temporary exhibitions at Gallerie d’Italia - Torino form part of a journey of exploration which looks at photography as a means of expression but also as its own specific language. Describing the most important issues and challenges of modern society is the objective of the innovative visual stories commissioned to world-renowned photographers and visual artists.
