Studio Talks. Aperitif with the Artist

Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea presents Studio Talks. Aperitif with the Artist, a new programme of four meetings, in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo's Gallerie d'Italia - Turin, to be held from Thursday 7 November 2024 to February 2025, following the success of the previous editions of Lunch Talks @ GDI - Turin. Talking about Art. Great artists, great exhibitions, great themes.

During the meetings, which will be held in the Arena room of the Gallerie d'Italia - Turin, it will be possible to virtually visit the studios of the artists featured in this edition and invited by Castello di Rivoli: Guglielmo Castelli, Tomás Saraceno, Giorgio Griffa and Elena Mazzi. The artists will be talking to Francesco Manacorda, director of Castello di Rivoli, Marcella Beccaria, deputy director of Castello di Rivoli, and Marianna Vecellio, curator of Castello di Rivoli, taking the audience on a journey through their studios.

The talks will offer the audience privileged access to the artist's studio, understood as a real but also metaphorical place where creativity and research are cultivated, and where artworks are imagined and sometimes produced. The programme offers a unique and unforgettable experience, closely observing the artistic process of creation of artists who live and work in Turin and Berlin, and whose works are exhibited in the Permanent Collections of Castello di Rivoli.

The Studio Talks introduce a new aperitif formula for the audience, also offering the opportunity to visit the museum's exhibitions, Mitch Epstein. American Nature and Antonio Biasiucci. Arca, before the talks begin.
