The cafeteria
Connected with the Gallerie d’Italia museum but always open to the public, the cafeteria is accessible all day long, from breakfast to aperitif time. Here you can taste the products of artisan gelateria Gusto 17 and purchase a slection of local products by Aimo e Nadia at the Dispensa shop.
The gourmet restaurant
Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini, heirs of historic brand Aimo e Nadia, bring their vision of Italian cuisine to Gallerie d’Italia - Milano, inspired by the museum’s rich artistic heritage. The menu is shaped by the brand’s strong Italian roots and close relationship with its trusted suppliers of raw materials. This is a journey of discovery into Italy’s finest flavours and fragrances and the perfect way to round off your visit to the museum. In the summer time, the restaurant moves outdoors. Reserve a table for lunch or dinner and experience all the emotions of a secret and timeless space: the garden of Alessandro Manzoni. This is a place very dear to the Milanese genius who, in an 1814 letter to Claude Fauriel, wrote:
“As for me, I am here with my family, the trees and my verses. We have bought a house with a big garden of about a tenth of an arpent, in which I immediately planted some liquidambar, sophoras, thujas and firs which, if I live long enough, will come up through the window one day looking for me.”
