Even this year the international photography festival is due to take place in Cortona, in the heart of Tuscany, from 13 July to 1 October 2023, once again with Intesa Sanpaolo as Main Partner.

"MORE OR LESS" is the theme chosen for this 13th edition of Cortona On The Move.

Over 30 artists have been invited to interpret the dichotomy between "MORE OR LESS" for 26 exhibitions set up in the historical centre of the town, the Medici Fortress of Girifalco and "Station C" near Camucia-Cortona Station. These include big names in international photography, such as Larry Fink, whose collection of works entitled Class Issues will be on display. And also Chauncey Hare, with his collection Working Class Heroes, for the first time in Italy.

Two of the exhibitions will be organised in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo: Standing Still by Massimo Vitali, whose iconic works from the 1990s up to the present days will be on display, and Il caso "Africo", from the Archivio Publifoto Intesa Sanpaolo, bringing together the reportage by Valentino (Tino) Petrelli shot in Aspromonte in 1948, shown in its entirety for the first time in Cortona.

The greatest national and international photography experts in the world will be coming to Cortona On The Move on the opening days of the festival, from 13 to 16 July, to take part to events, presentations, talks and workshops. In particular:
