As part of the travelling exhibitions project, beginning on 20 March, the exhibition CARRIE MAE WEEMS. The Heart of the Matter, curated by Sarah Hermanson Meister, arrives at FOMU in Anversa (Belgium).

The exhibition comprises more than 100 photographs and videos, including landmark works such as Museums (2006) and Kitchen Table Series (1990). Especially for this exhibition, Weems created the series Preach (2024).

Originating from a project by Gallerie d’Italia – Turin in collaboration with Aperture, where the American artist exhibited from April 17 to September 7, 2025.
