,

Date: Wednesday 05 March 2025
Time: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

China underwent a momentous change between the 1980s and the beginning of the 21st century. And - to be honest - it's not the first in the space of about a century. The huge transformations faced by this country are not always easy for those on the outside to understand. The aim of the meeting is to outline some points and some key aspects of the development path taken by the country in the forty years covered by Barbieri's exhibition, highlighting the contradictions and problems that this rapid transformation has brought with it, but also recognising the challenges, reflections, analyses and solutions that China, as a major player on the world geopolitical scene, is proposing today, and which must be taken into account, overcoming the logic of opposition and fear.
