The To Listen To festival in 2024 reaches its third edition consolidating the experience of experimental listening thanks to the support and main partnership of Gallerie d'Italia - Intesa Sanpaolo and the contribution of Compagnia di San Paolo.

The project also uses the collaboration of AIMI - Associazione Informatica Musicale Italiana, Fondazione Archivio Luigi Nono di Venezia, GAM - Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Torino, MAO – Museo d’Arte Orientale di Torino, CIRMA - Centro Interdipartimento di Ricerca su Multimedia e Audiovisivo e StudiUm - Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici dell’Università degli Studi di Torino, Conservatorio Paganini di Genova, Galleria Guido Costa Projects, Circolo del Design, Museo Nazionale del Cinema and the media partnership of Rai Radiotre.

Program of To Listen To festival: dates and times

The program starts with the Preview To Listen To at Gallerie d'Italia on the opening weekend, from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September, three days that will be crossed by reflections on the economy of listening, concerts and workshops for children.

 

Friday 27 September

  • at 17.30 - Value of listening: SHARING
    Solidarity Brigade musicians/ Cecilia Casalegno, Management Department – University of Turin
    Multi-voice reflections on the theme of relationship and sharing, fundamental prerogatives of value creation and result of a communication based on universal codes, for a society whose beauty lies in heterogeneity.

Saturday 28 September

  • at 15.00 and 16.00 - Ascolta!
    Workshop for children between 6 and 10 years old that introduces active listening through play and storytelling. A creative journey of discovery of the sound gestures that make up the electroacoustic musical language by Giulia Impache and Guglielmo Diana.

  • at 17.30 - Value of listening: DISSEMINATION
    Davide Boosta Dileo, musician/ Damiano Cortese, Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Modern Cultures – University of Turin.
    Considerations in dialogue on the concept of dissemination as a partnership to creation and impact that comes from the diffusion of generated value.

  • at 18.30 - Luc Ferrari – À la recherche du rythme perdu

Sunday 29 September

  • at 11.00 e 12.00 - Ascolta!
