I WAS THERE. THE ADVENTURES OF THE MOST FAMOUS “RAI OLDIE” AT SANREMO - Aldo Grasso talks to Bruno Gambarotta
A meeting in the name of culture and entertainment with Bruno Gambarotta and Aldo Grasso. They talk about the Italian Song Festival and retrace the steps of the early years of the song contest, which accompanied the birth of a nation that was just emerging from the Second World War.
Bruno Gambarotta (born in Asti on 26 May 1937, Italian writer, journalist, television presenter and actor) recalls and talks, with his usual irony, about the years he spent behind the camera on the stage of Sanremo Casino, revealing the behind-the-scenes secrets, helping us understand the birth of a ritual which is repeated every year all over Italy.

"SAN REMO SINGS”, DOCU-FILM BY DOMENICO PAOLELLA - with Aldo Grasso and Alberto Ruffini
Aldo Grasso presents the Docu-film directed by Domenico Paolella on the 1956 Sanremo Festival.
It chronicles the 1956 Sanremo Italian Song Festival and includes the preparation of the new entries, the origin of the songs competing, the various auditions held during the festival and the results of the competition.
”San Remo Sings” is a documentary film, based entirely on the sixth edition of the Sanremo Festival (won by newcomer Franca Raimondi with the famous song “Aprite le finestre”), the first of several others to be produced in the years that followed, dedicated to the song contest that was born only a few years earlier, in 1951.
The singers that performed: Nilla Pizzi, Claudio Villa, Gino Latilla, Carla Boni, Achille Togliani.

Gigliola Cinquetti, singer (and many other things) reveals her variegated inner world, her impassioned and fiery personality and her innate curiosity.
This is the enthralling story of a young girl, who loves walking and is in love with the Iliad and suddenly finds herself projected into the dreamworld of success, unaware of the society that surrounds her and, above all, of the labels that people place on her.

ARISTON. THE MAGIC BOX OF SAN REMO (SALANI) - Walter Vacchino and Luca Ammirati talk to Francesca Angeleri
The Ariston Theatre is the most iconic venue of Italian music and entertainment, a place that is almost sacred, where the event that everyone wants to attend, even if only to criticise it, has been held since 1977.
Walter Vacchino, who was just six years old when his father Aristide laid the first brick (now runs the theatre with his sister Carla), talks about the different chapters of a family epic that has become a national legend.
