Following the adoption of Italian decree Law no. 24 of 24 March 2022, as from 3 April of this year the public can once again enjoy free admission to the nation’s cultural sites, and thus enjoy the benefits of a unique scheme designed to encourage the public’s knowledge of Italy’s artistic heritage.
Accordingly, Gallerie d’Italia offer free admission to their own museums on the first Sunday of each month, as from April 2022.
This free admission initiative on the first Sunday of each month is also shared by Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi in Arezzo, which is open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. For more information visit the website Fondazione Bruschi.
Galleria di Palazzo degli Alberti in Prato, which boasts masterpieces by Caravaggio, Bellini and Filippo Lippi, is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:30 to 19:00, and admission is always free of charge: click here to book your visit.
