The music programme entitled It is open to everyone. Music at lunchtime resumes on Tuesday 17 October and ends in early December. The cycle of free concerts takes place every Tuesday and Saturday at lunchtime and is open to everyone, residents of the city and tourists alike.

The initiative is organised in cooperation with the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory of Music in Naples, whose students will be performing. The youngsters will be performing a vast repertoire ranging from the 17th century, with the memorable pages by Monteverdi, to the 20th century, and the intriguing “Neapolitan” piano repertoire with the unusual pages by Pilatie Gubitosi, and the Neapolitan song with the results of the workshop Musica della tradizione e canzone napoletana.

A concert is then dedicated to La divina Maria on the centenary of her birth. Five students from the Conservatory will be singing famous opera pieces related to the Callas repertoire. As usual, this is a varied musical offering that bears witness to the extensive potential of the great Neapolitan music institute.

Admission to the concerts is free of charge subject to availability.
