The art of change @gallerieditalia, a series of meetings curated by Giovanni Caccamo where words, music and new harmonies come together to build a potential new future and ignite an exchange on change, kicks off in Vicenza on the 1st of June.  The journey will continue to the Turin museum on June the 6th and then to Naples on 13th September, to end up in Milan on September 14th.

To coincide with the four events, the Wall of Change, a travelling art installation conceived by Giovanni Caccamo, bringing together different cultures, religions and identities united by a love of life and an evolving vision of the future towards sharing and harmony, will be lit at the four Gallerie d'Italia museums. The installation consists of a wall of words projected onto a white ledwall. Everyone can contribute to the project by clicking www.museodelcambiamento.it and by typing in a word of change, which will instantly appear on the screen.

The art of change @gallerieditalia - Meeting dates

On 13th September in Naples, Giovanni Caccamo will be talking to the audience and some talented young people in an alternation of words and music. The protagonists will share valuable reflections on the most pressing issues of our time. The meeting will accompany the lighting of the Wall of Change.

On 1st June in Vicenza, Giovanni Caccamo will be accompanied by Cristina dell'Acqua. After the publication of her latest book La Formula di Socrate (Socrates' Formula) edited by Mondadori, and her recent collaboration with Corriere della Sera and La7, the writer, interacting with the artist, will create a bridge between past, present and future, through quotations from the Greek and Latin classics. The two protagonists will share valuable reflections with the audience on the most pressing current issues. The discussion will be enhanced by a musical performance by the singer-songwriter and the lighting of the Wall of Change.
The television reporter Rajae Bezzas and the art history student Laura Rossi, two of the sixty young protagonists of the Manifesto of Change, will take part to the meeting.

On June the 6th in Turin, Giovanni Caccamo will be talking to four other young talents, Giorgio Brizio (author and climate activist), Silvia Parrino (manager for healthcare innovation), Davide Sabatino (dancer, poet) and Travis (rapper), and Mattia Villardita (hospital volunteer) on topics of change and on the future, embraced by the art of painter Giovanni Robustelli in two new perspectives, digital and analogue. The round table, with the writer Luca Bianchini as a moderator, will be held in the museum's multimedia room, where the young people's #WordsOfChange, redrawn by the artist, will be projected. At the same time, the artist will reproduce them in a veritable live calligraphic performance on a large wooden board. The discussion will be enhanced by an “a cappella” musical performance by the singer-songwriter and the lighting of the Wall of Change.

On 14th September in Milan, Giovanni Caccamo will be talking to the audience and some talented young people in an alternation of words and music. Next to the piano there will be a large wooden board on which the painter Giovanni Robustelli will reproduce the young people’s #WordsOfChange in a live calligraphic performance. The meeting will accompany the lighting of the Wall of Change.
