After the success and excitement of the January appointment at the Gallerie d'Italia in Milan, due to the unique experience of a combination of space and sound, Gallerie d'Italia,The Goodness Factory and Music Production have decided to repeat that experience to amplify the emotion and go on a journey together.
From 18th of May Vittorio Cosma returns to the halls of the Gallerie d'Italia with Open Machine, the improvisation project that he has been touring Italy for a few years now, with four appointments in Turin and four in Milan from 19th of October.

The guests who will alternate in this unique and prestigious creative room will bring the public directly into contact with the mechanisms of musical creation. Much more than a performance, it is a tangible action that aims to help reposition music in the experimental and cultural dimension to which it belongs. The musicians involved meet “on stage”, with no rehearsals before the live performance, and the audience finds itself completely immersed in an authentic moment of artistic creation with a free interaction.

This is how the new format “Open Machine FEATURING Gallerie d'Italia” was born, a regular appointment aimed at the general public, art lovers and music enthusiasts, taking place between May and October in the Intesa Sanpaolo museums spaces in Turin and Milan. A project combining the experimental attitude of Open Machine with the vision of Gallerie d'Italia. Eight appointments, four in Turin and four in Milan, for a musical event that has two simple rules: listen and let yourself be carried away by the flow.

  • Thursday 19 October - Guinevere, Lorenzo Senni, Giancarlo Parisi
  • Thursday 26 October - Rodrigo D'Erasmo, Paolo Spaccamonti, Ginevra Nervi
  • Thursday 23 November - N.A.I.P., Julie Ant, Adriano Viterbini
  • Thursday 30 November - Frenetik, Pasquale Mirra, Daniela Pes

The meetings will be held in the courtyard, weather permitting. In the event of bad weather, they will be moved to the immersive room.
