Within the scope of the promotion of modern and contemporary art collections in Milan, Sfera grande, a work by Arnaldo Pomodoro, has been installed in the garden of Alessandro Manzoni. 

The imposing sculpture, which measures 350 cm in diameter, was created from fiberglass in 1966.

“The sphere is a magical shape. The shiny surface reflects everything around it, giving back a perception of space that is different from reality, and creates mystery” Arnaldo Pomodoro.
