Within the scope of the promotion of modern and contemporary art collections in Milan, Sfera grande, a work by Arnaldo Pomodoro, has been installed in Il Giardino di Alessandro.

The imposing sculpture, which measures 350 cm in diameter, was created from fiberglass in 1966.

“The sphere is a magical shape. The shiny surface reflects everything around it, giving back a perception of space that is different from reality, and creates mystery” Arnaldo Pomodoro.
